Nikko and The Night Shift

Nikko & The Night Shift

Original Rock, Soul & Blues

A real rocker coming from the rain-soaked forests of Olympia, WA, Nikko is stepping up with his latest album, Breakthrough (Aug. 2026) — more hooks (“Waiting the World Away”), more rock (“Heart of Stone”), and soulful melodies (“New Friends”). Breakthrough has already seen huge success with singles like "Waiting the World Away":

As Obsidian PR's campaign manager put it, “we work with a lot of acts, none of which get the response this first track has got for [Nikko]. This is easily the most liked song we've pitched in years - It's crazy in a way.” Already being spun on FM and Internet radio stations in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia, Singapore and South Africa, “Waiting the World Away” has been the runaway single of the album (so far).

At the heart of it, it's the kind of music you just want to get up and dance to — something that moves people of all ages without needing an explanation. Something you already knew, something close to you, coming back around. There's joy in it… and a reminder that this wild journey we're all on together is a gift.

Backing Nikko is The Night Shift — a killer lineup featuring Hans Salnave on bass, Brian Lind on drums, and Nikko's dad, Frank Pisciotti, on keys. Legends in their own right.

Together they blend Rock, Blues and Soul into a fiery, upbeat live show — a handful of covers reworked into their own sound alongside a catalog of originals, with a real down-to-earth perspective in the songwriting. No two shows are the same, and the band has a blast doing it.

Nikko is a Washington local at heart, with stages including Seattle Hempfest, The Crocodile, Jazzbones, Taste of Tacoma, Capital Lakefair, and a live session at London Bridge Studios.
